Christian Bolt's bond with Carrara marble
On June 22 and 23, I had film shoots for my documentary "Christian Bolt - On Human Beauty" in Carrara and Florence with the sculptor Christian Bolt. Carrara marble is one of the most famous marbles in the world. Christian Bolt studied two years in Carrara and has a special love for marble which is reflected in his sculptures.

Ladina Bordoli - reimagined!
The internationally renowned author Ladina Bordoli ("The Mandelli Saga") from Prättigau in Switzerland asked me for a new photo shoot. The pictures will mainly be used for her new website. However, one of the pictures will also be used in the new trilogy Ladina is currently writing. The first book of the trilogy will be published at the end of 2023. Ladina didn't want to tell me more about the content of the trilogy yet - but it will be exciting!

Dieses Jahr wird ein Filmjahr!
Das neue Jahr hat bereits hektisch angefangen. Auf der einen Seite bin ich mich noch von meiner Erkältung am erholen und auf der anderen Seite bin ich bereits am vorbereiten für die nächsten Filme für meine Serie „Status: BündnerIn“. Am zweitletzten Tag im alten Jahr habe ich ja noch mit Luana Bergamin, Sportwissenschaftlerin & Unternehmerin begonnen zu drehen und weitere Aufnahmen folgen noch Ende Januar auf der Lenzerheide während den Biathlon Europa Meisterschaften. Der finale Film erscheint Ende Februar.

Luana Bergamin ist Sportwissenschaftlerin und Unternehmerin. Seit 2022 Bündner Grossrätin (Die Mitte), ehemalige Spitzensportlerin Ski Alpin und Guide des Swiss Paralympic Ski-Teams. Luana verkörpert das junge, engagierte Graubünden. Ich bin überzeugt, wir werden noch viel von ihr hören.

Norway - Twilight Zone: The movie
This film is a documentary about our trip with an expedition ship from Hamburg to the arctic North Cape, along the old postal route of Norway. We left Hamburg on December 9 and came back in Hamburg again on December 23, 2022. We travel with the expedition ship "Otto Sverdrup" of Hurtigruten Expeditions. The arctic cold of Norway is a fascinating experience - even for a Swiss ;-)
Svolvaer - Lofoten
On the lofoten islands there is no sunlight during several months in winter. During a few hours a day only blue hours with pink colors illuminating the snow-white covered mountains - a paradise for photographers. Best time to capture the optimal light is in December around midday.
The Soul of Botswana - a film by Roland Steffen

This film documents the experience of a mobile safari in the Okavango Delta, Botswana in 2022.
All video and photo footage on land and in helicopters were taken between the end of May and the beginning of June 2022 in Botswana in the area of Chobe River, Savuti, Khwai Consession, Moremi Game Reserve and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pan by Roland Steffen.
Reflections - Lake Partnun
Lake Partnun is a mountain lake in the Partnun area north-northeast of St. Antönien in the municipality of Luzein of the Prättigau-Davos district in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is located in the Rätikon at an altitude of 1868 m above sea level slightly south of the border with Vorarlberg.
A true Swiss UNESCO World Heritage Landscape
The following pictures were taken yesterday during a train ride with the Bernina Express from Chur through the Engadine to Poschiavo, near the Italian border. An absolut fantastic journey through a winter landscape which has rightly been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mit «Lea Meier – Mein hübsches Prättigau» habe ich heute bereits den 13. Film aus dieser Dokumentar-Serie veröffentlicht. Lea Meier aus Stels ist Junioren Weltmeisterin im Biathlon und der Film zeigt ihre Verbundenheit mit der Natur und den Menschen im Prättigau sowie ihren Alltag als Profisportlerin. Mich hat Lea sehr beeindruckt und ich bin überzeugt, dass wir in Zukunft noch viel von ihr hören werden – spätestens an der Biathlon WM 2025 in der Lenzerheide!
